US visit April 2011...

I've just had the final itinerary for my US trip in April...

I'm arriving April 12th but flying straight to Phoenix where I'm working for three days at Namta. Sunday 17th visiting MOMA, Monday 18th Montclair University /Talk, Tuesday 19th Pratt Institute /Demo, Wednesday 20th / Parson School of Design / Talk and demo, 21st-22nd North Carolina / not sure where but making a video for education,
Sat 23rd CPC in Chicago / demo and talk... flying home later on the same day!
I'm introducing Daler-Rowney 'System 3 Acrylics' + additives for screen printing.

Portable Exposure Unit/Light Table
The exposure unit is portable and moves easily on it's wheels. The robust construction means that transportation of the unit is worry free. As well as producing high quality screen printing stencils it can also be used for exposing photo etching, litho and flexo plates. There is also a separate bulb within the unit to use as a light box.

Free Water-based Screen Printing Workshops
Art educators and Printmakers are invited to register for
Dave Fortune’s Sydney & Brisbane workshops.
















Explore the possibilities of
screen printing onto paper, fabric
and ceramics in a solvent free environment using
Daler-Rowney System 3 Acrylics, mediums and additives.

Dave Fortune, manager of the screen printing department at
the University of the West of England School of Creative Arts
in Bristol, England is visiting Australia in April 2010 to conduct
screen printing workshops based on his successful model of
workshops, seminars and summer schools in the UK and Europe.

Dave’s workshops will give you an understanding of a wide
range of interesting techniques including: Editioning of sensitive
hand rendered and photographic images; producing computer
generated imagery using Photoshop®; as well as low-cost
monotone, duotone and colour separations which can be output
on a postscript laser printer ready to print.

One day workshops, talks and demonstrations with Dave Fortune
will be held at the following venues:
